As announced in the previous newsletter, our first pop-up dinner of the season will take place at the Foulerie on Saturday 11th May. This will be the first dinner masterminded by a “cheffe” since our gourmet evenings began in 2013, and will feature the remarkably talented Amandine Chaignot.
Amandine learnt her craft at the Ecole Ferrandi, before perfecting her knowledge of gastronomy in celebrated restaurants alongside master chefs Alain Ducasse, Jean-François Piège, Yannick Alléno and Eric Fréchon. They passed on to her their passion and sensitivity, and their inspiration is today reflected in her cooking.
Returning from London after three years at the Rosewood Hôtel, Amandine will soon be opening her own restaurant, Pouliche, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Inspired by her experience, her travels and the remarkable people she has met, Amélie makes unique dishes that reflect her spontaneity and passion.
