Opening days

The 2017 season begins on Saturday 1 April and ends on Wednesday 1rst November. Outside these dates, the entire site remains closed to the public.

During this period, we are open only at weekends and on public holidays (2017 French public holidays en 2017 : 17 April, 1st May, 8 May, 25 May, 5 June, 14 July, 15 August and 1st November).

Note: the château is closed during July and August; however the park remains open (weekends and public holidays).

In addition, the entire site is sometimes closed for family reasons; we will keep you informed through our newsletter.

Times

We are open at weekends and on public holidays, from 2pm to 6pm.

Guided visits of the château take place at 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm. Consult the section Visiting conditions for more information.

The ticket office closes at 6pm, however you can stay in the park until dusk.

La Foulerie tea room welcomes you every afternoon during opening days until 6:30pm for tea, drinks and a variety of cakes and pastries.

Courances opens at 11am during the Journées des Jardins (3 and 4 June) and during the Journées du Patrimoine (16 and 17 September).
