Self-encounter through Gardening and Yoga

Alexandra Bailly and Antoine Berthelin are happy to present the first edition of their annual personal development workshop: “Self-encounter through Gardening and Yoga”.

The workshop will follow the rhythm of the seasons and will take place on five dates over the year 2014.

During the workshop, you will receive tools to gain access to your inner garden. By entering into contact with yourself, you attain comprehension, followed by a real acceptation of what we are: a key to living more gently, with more serenity.

Workshop planning

Each module will take place over an entire day, from 10:15am to 3pm. A half-day will be dedicated to gardening, where by making contact with the earth you will receive the basis for cultivating your own vegetable garden or orchard. The other half-day is dedicated to yoga. Participants are then invited to pursue their inner voyage through yoga postures and basic breathing exercises.

The setting and the participants

The workshop will take place in Les Jardins de Courances.

Antoine Berthelin – in charge of the organic vegetable garden created in 2013 at the château. For seven years, Antoine has offered personal development workshops combining gardening and psychotherapy in the Rosendal Gardens of Stockholm, where he collaborated in setting up a haven of biodynamic farming in the heart of the Swedish capital.

Alexandra Bailly – yoga teacher and practitioner in reflexology. After spending several years in Canada, Alexandra opened her practice, The InnerGetics Centre, in Milly-La-Forêt in 2012, where she provides personalized accompaniment of the individual through energetic treatments as well as yoga classes and workshops.
