Opening days

The 2019 season begins on Saturday 6 April and ends on Sunday 3 November. Outside these dates, the entire site remains closed to the public.

During the season, we are open only at weekends and on public holidays (2019 French public holidays : 22 April, 1st May, 8 May, 30 May, 10 June, 14 July, 15 August and 1st November).

Note: the château is closed during July and August; however the park remains open (at weekends and on public holidays).

In addition, the entire site is sometimes closed for family reasons; we will keep you informed through our newsletter.

Times

We are open at weekends and on public holidays, from 2pm to 6pm.

Guided visits of the château take place at 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm. Consult the section Visiting conditions for more information.

The ticket office closes at 6pm, but you may remain in the park until dusk.

La Foulerie tea room welcomes you every afternoon during opening days until 6:30pm for tea, drinks and a variety of cakes and pastries.

Courances opens at 11am during the Journées des Jardins (8 and 9 June) and during the Journées du Patrimoine (21 and 22 September).
